In 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, I gave birth to a beautiful boy. We were in lockdown and my undiagnosed ADHD started to show through. I have always been a fidgeter, and a skin-picker but my anxiety levels of a worldwide pandemic with a newborn made my anxiety go through the roof!
In 2021, I went searching for the best anxiety rings in Australia. I found spinner rings, abacus style rings and rings where you could spin the outer layer. However, I couldn't find any to meet my expectations - I wanted high quality materials that didn't react on my sensitive skin and tarnish, and the ones available on Amazon had quite tacky and mass produced designs. So I created my own.
This is how Subtly Anxious was born. With my husband's support, we tested suppliers, went through numerous designs and found a supplier that was able to produce our designs with high quality materials - s925 sterling silver.
All of our rings are made from s925 sterling silver and premium stainless steel. Our rings are not cheap like Temu and Amazon but they are much more affordable than Pandora and higher end brands. Right now, we have a Black Friday sale which is 20% off sitewide so people are taking advantage of this for Christmas, especially with our already discounted Christmas bundles.
We are always looking to improve our products through our community and currently working on a more elegant design than the acupressure spiky rings. As a parent with high anxiety, we have created a page of anxiety resources that we have found helpful in our journey.
